Building Trades
Learn the skills needed to work in the trades in the fields of plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry and painting and decorating. The skills learned in this program enable our graduates to enter the workforce in these trades with the confidence and skills required to be successful.
Employment Placement
Assistance is available for Ontario Works clients to develop a resume, job search, link them with potential employers and prepare for interviews
Job Placement and Retention
People with disabilities can get help to identify job opportunities, prepare for work, get supported job search and job development, interview preparation and job retention supports while on the job.

Building Trades program Intake and Orientation sessions are held on Thursday mornings at 10:00:am. General program information including the course outline, duration, topics covered, expected outcomes and the teaching methodologies are covered during the orientation. Following the orientation session the program coordinator meets with each person individually to explain the application and approval process.
Ontario Works applicants should bring in a Skills Training Directly Leading to Employment (STDLE) Referral form.
In the interest of fairness, applicants are seen on a first-come first-served basis following the group orientation. Please be punctual, as the information sessions start promptly at 10:00 am.

Ontario Works Employment Placement intake sessions are on Tuesday mornings at 10:00 am. Bring in your resume and your EP Referral form unless your worker has already sent it to us.
